The tattoo ink particles shatter into minuscule fragments immediately when treated with the laser.
Over the weeks following each laser session, the shattered tattoo ink is flushed away by the body’s lymphatic system – fading down the appearance of the tattoo. With each subsequent treatment, more and more of the ink is shattered until the tattoo can no longer be seen.
